BAE Systems are looking for a skilled a Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of aircraft design activities, contributing to projects such as the Atmospheric Research Aircraft (ARA) Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU). You will provide specialist electrical design advice and ensure compliance with airworthiness, national, quality, and SHE requirements.
What You'll Be Doing: Deliver a range of electrical design engineering tasks across aircraft platforms Create, review, and approve engineering drawings and documentation Develop modifications and support third-party design organisations Investigate and resolve technical issues related to aircraft systems Ensure all designs meet airworthiness, safety, and regulatory standards Act as a technical advisor within the team, supporting junior engineers Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers Manage small to medium-sized projects with a focus on quality and delivery ...
