Overview

Electrical Design Engineer Copello are now looking for several Electrical Design Engineers on behalf of a Defence Prime, who are delivering on current gen and next–gen programmes.

This role does offer a generous hybrid working pattern, with travel to the North West being mandatory, or relocation support.

PLEASE NOTE – Due to the Nature of these positions, to be considered you must be eligible to obtain UK SC Clearance and must be a sole British Citizen.

Responsibilities

• As an Electrical Designer, the individual must be proficient in the use of CAD to produce 3D models of Electrical Systems and Equipment Integration, such as switchboards and power units.
• The role also requires the development of 2D electrical system diagrams and schematics, as well as producing putputs to support manufacturing, installation and testing.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification
• Experience in Electrical compartment integration and Engineering standards at component and sub–component level
• Knowledge and understanding of Electrical routed systems, in both 2D/3D
• Proficient in CAD toolsets
