Overview

Electrical Design Engineer - Copello are now looking for several Electrical Design Engineers on behalf of a Defence Prime, who are delivering on current gen and next-gen programmes.

This role offers a generous hybrid working pattern, with travel to the North West mandatory, or relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in CAD to produce 3D models of Electrical Systems and Equipment Integration, such as switchboards and power units.
• Develop 2D electrical system diagrams and schematics, and produce outputs to support manufacturing, installation and testing.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification
• Experience in electrical compartment integration and engineering standards at component and sub-component level
• Knowledge and understanding of electrical routed systems, in both 2D and 3D
• Proficient in CAD toolsets
• Experience in another high-hazard industry (e.g., Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace, Maritime, Automotive) considered
• Eligible to obtain UK SC Clearance and must be a sole British Citizen
