Senior Electrical Design Engineer (contract) Outside IR35 Marine applications 6 month contract Hybrid working
Responsibilities: System Design and Integration: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate electrical systems into the overall design. • Design and layout electrical systems, encompassing power distribution, wiring harnesses, connectors, control modules, and charging systems. • Ensure all electrical designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Prototyping and Testing: • Work closely with testing teams to conduct functional, performance, and safety tests on electrical systems. • Diagnose and resolve any issues that arise during testing phases. Documentation and Reporting: • Develop detailed documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports related to electrical design. • Effectively communicate design concepts and findings to team members, management, and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience: • Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of industry experience ...
