On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Solihull Hybrid.

Job Description - The Role

As a Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Design and optimisation of electrical power systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Development and verification of a wider range of electrical equipment.
  • Support to manufacture and test of electrical products.
  • Providing technical solutions that meet the customer, business and regulatory requirements.
  • Representing the Project/Company to customers, suppliers and operators as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimisation of electrical power systems to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong electrical background.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in the electrical field with experience in electrical design techniques.
  • Experience in electrical power equipment specification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable aptitude for problem solving.
  • A track record of delivery in project engineering.
  • Excellent communication/influencing skills.
