Description Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex and significant engineering projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients. The successful candidate will take ownership of electrical design delivery, coordinate with other professionals, and contribute to the development of high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions. Experience The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a strong track record of delivering projects across multiple sectors. You will be confident in producing calculations, designs, and project documentation, as well as overseeing and checking the work of others. Familiarity with modern design processes and software such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux is essential. Experience working in a consultancy environment with direct client and contractor engagement will be highly valued, as will the ability to manage project tasks independently while contributing effectively to team objectives. Job Responsibilities Deliver electrical designs across projects from inception through to completion
Take ownership of smaller projects or the electrical discipline within larger, complex schemes
Produce calculations, design drawings, and project documentation to a high standard
Represent the discipline in client, design, and project meetings
Manage design coordination with other engineering disciplines and professionals
Delegate, manage, and check work undertaken by junior engineers and support staff
Report project progress and deliverables to senior management
