Electrical Engineer Nottingham £40,000 - £50,000 + Hybrid + Progression + Training & Development + Diverse Project Portfolio

We’re working with a leading building services consultancy that has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Nottingham.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated electrical design alongside other disciplines
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and apprentices
  • Support in setting design strategy and ensuring QA standards are met
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and professional teams
  • Lead small multi-disciplinary teams on projects
  • Attend client, design team, and project meetings
  • Undertake feasibility studies, surveys, and site inspections
  • Prepare load calculations and utility applications
  • Produce detailed electrical services designs
  • Review sub-contractor designs and technical submissions

About You

  • Degree or HNC/D in a relevant subject (or equivalent)
  • Professional membership desirable
  • Proficient with relevant industry design software
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management
  • Team player, with the ability to also work independently
