Role Description

This is a full-time role for a CompEx Electrical Engineer. As a CompEx Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing installations, inspections, and maintenance services for electrical systems in hazardous environments.

  • Carrying out electrical maintenance and installations in explosive environments such as MOD fuelling stations and high security sites throughout the UK
  • Installation of power and data to fuel dispensing pumps, gauging, fuel monitoring and associated control panels
  • Understanding and experience with ATEX electrical installations
  • Adhere to ATEX standards and procedures
  • Assistance in developing REDS services to support its expanding service provision to varying industries
  • Creation of your own personal career development and training to suit and match REDS service provisions within the decommissioning, fuels, tank maintenance and response industries

Place of Work

Your place of work will be fluid, nationwide, which can include working away from home. Accommodation will be paid for with an expenses allowance in place for overnight stays.

Qualifications

  • CompEx 1 - 4 and 7 & 8 certification and relevant electrical engineering qualifications (essential)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Lightning Protection Systems (desirable not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the fuel and oil industry is a plus
