Electrical EngineerSalary: £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, including on-call workLocation: Rural Penrith area Adecco Workington are delighted to be recruiting for our fantastic client in the rural Penrith area. This is a superb opportunity to join a company with an excellent reputation. Responsibilities:* Maintain and repair a wide range of manufacturing production equipment, reacting quickly to breakdowns.* Diagnose and repair faults on PLC and electronically controlled equipment.* Carry out installations and ensure equipment meets statutory health and safety requirements.* Follow safe working practices at all times.* Support continuous improvement activities.* Work a two-week rotating early/late shift pattern with emergency on-call cover (no night shifts). Requirements:* Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC and electronically controlled equipment.* Qualification to the latest IEE wiring regulations desirable but not essential.* Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.* Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.* Full UK driving licence.
