Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join a high-performing design team within a major energy infrastructure project. This is a 6-month contract with a hybrid work model: 3 days per week in the Manchester office.

Responsibilities

• Design & specification of auxiliary systems (lighting, fire detection, access control, CCTV)
• Review client specifications and supplier technical documents
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (BS7671)

What You’ll Need

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Building Services
• BS7671 (18th Edition) certification
• Experience with Dialux, Amtech and/or Hevacomp
• Skilled in AutoCAD / Revit
