We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am
5pm.

The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping electrical systems across our parishes and properties safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
Specifically, in this mobile role, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, oversee all inspections, testing, and remedial works across the Diocese, and ensure that regulations are met.
Alongside this, you will complete minor installations and upgrades to existing systems, diagnose and repair electrical faults, and keep stakeholders fully informed about the safety and reliability of our systems.
Additionally, you will:
- Keep detailed maintenance records and reports - Undertake EICRs,
PAT testing and emergency lighting inspections - Ensure safe working practices and adherence to health & safety standards - Assist with project work when required
About You
To be considered as an Electrical Engineer, you will need:
- Experience in commercial electrical maintenance and installations - Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS), UPS, generators, and LV systems - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills - Excellent customer service skills - A City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering - An 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) qualification - A full, valid driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Diocese
