The Role

The Electrical Engineer will join the building services design team, contributing to projects across healthcare, commercial, education, residential, and infrastructure sectors. This role offers the chance to develop expertise in low-carbon design and advanced building simulation, while contributing to innovative solutions that align with Net Zero and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed electrical design across a range of building services projects.
  • Support the integration of energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies into project solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Undertake technical calculations, prepare reports, and develop electrical specifications.
  • Participate in sustainability-focused initiatives including energy audits, retrofit projects, and whole life carbon assessments.

About You / Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years’ experience in electrical building services design.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and life safety systems.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Amtech (desirable).
  • Passionate about sustainability, energy efficiency, and innovative design solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
