An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in South East London has arisen. The client is recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in Greenwich. If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer seeking a dynamic role where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and associated plant equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards and statutory compliance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and related building services, such as HVAC, fire alarm systems, and lifts, to ensure optimal operation.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime, ensuring timely repairs and maintaining service continuity.
  • Ensure all maintenance work adheres to relevant health and safety regulations, including the client’s procedures and the latest legislation, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, providing clear documentation for management and clients.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality service and ensure effective communication of engineering and building issues impacting service delivery.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds qualified Electrical Level 3 or equivalent
  • Strong building services knowledge
  • 5+ years industry experience
