Our well established client, based in Staffordshire, is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer on a full time, permanent basis\nYou are required to travel to and work at various locations within the UK, so a full, valid driving licence is required\nYou will be covering mainly the East & West Midlands\n£37,000 - £40,000 pa, dependant on experience\nMonday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week)\nThis post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS and employment references.\nDuties:\n* Electrical installations within both commercial and domestic properties.\n* Planned & Reactive Electrical Service & Maintenance.\n* 1 and 3 phase power installations.\n* EICR Electrical Testing.\n* Energy-saving LED lighting upgrades.\nRequirements\n * Minimum of 5 years site experience (industry based) in completing Electrical Installations\n * Electrical experience within both commercial and domestic properties.\n * Good Knowledge and understanding of BS 7671 - IET Wiring Regulations\n * Excellent knowledge of Electrical services and products\n * Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working\n * Have a good eye for detail and highly motivated to succeed\n * Flexible approach:\n* Due to customer demands, the ability to work additional hours over and above contracted hours if and when required, where overtime would be payable.\n * Be part of the emergency call out team on a rota basis\n * To promote a positive and professional attitude to all customers and staff.\n * Self- motivated and able to work under own initiative as well as within a team.\n * Willing to undertake further training/development within the post as required.\n * The ability to communicate effectively with tenants and other members of the public.\n * Full UK (Clean) driving licence.\nQualifications Required\n * City & Guilds BS7671:2018 Level 3 - Electrical Installations\n * City & Guilds 2391 (2391-52) - Testing and Inspecting (previously 2394/2395)\nBenefits\n * Review after probationary period.\n * Paid door to door less 30 minutes travel and 1 hour lunch per day.\n * Overtime at time and half.\n * OOH Call out rota – 1 in 6-8 weeks paid £100 standby, attended call out 1st hour £40 additional hrs @ time and half\n * 23 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays.\n * NEST pension scheme.\n * VITALITY company health scheme.\n * Company Vehicle (commercial) with Fuel Card & M6 Tag.\n * Company Phone.\n * Company expense card.\n * Power tools.\n * Company/corporate clothing, boots allowance and PPE
