EQUANS are looking for an Electrical Engineer working on behalf of Peel Group at Trafford Palazzo in Manchester. This is a permanent full-time role, 40 hours per week. A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance activities and reactive works on site, with excellent customer service on site.
• Complete all statutory and non-statutory PPM in accordance with annual PPM planners, task instruction sets, and customers SLA(s) & RPI(s).
• Use CAFM systems to complete reactive and PPM tasks in line with SLA(s) & KPI(s).
• Keep site logbooks up to date with relevant information and certification.
• Identify maintenance needs and produce technical reports on equipment.
• Respond to and repair reactive calls raised through the EQUANS Service desk; provide task information to the Administration team to ensure jobs are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction within SLA.
• Read, understand, and work to generic site PPM risk assessments and method statements (RAMS); complete any additional RAMS for large works or general risk assessments for smaller tasks.
• Complete all works to a high standard and in line with EQUANS quality procedures.
• Supervise/escort subcontractors on site, ensuring they follow site security procedures and work to their RAMS within EQUANS safe working procedures.
• Be available to work overtime to accommodate site requirements as reasonably requested.
• Timely completion of all company forms and statutory documentation, including record keeping and technical reporting.
• Comply with the company’s policies and procedures and assist other team members where multi-person tasks are required.
• Wear company uniform at all times and maintain a smart and presentable appearance.

Qualifications or Required Experience

• NVQ Levels 2 & 3 Electrical Installation.
• Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Test.
• Inspection and Testing of electrical equipment (PAT testing) BS2377.
• Asbestos awareness (preferable but not essential).
• IPAF Powered Access Licence (preferable but not essential).
• PASMA (preferable but not essential).
• First aid trained (preferable but not essential).
• Be computer literate, including operation of Handheld PDA.
• Maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnosis of HVAC equipment.
• Operation and interrogation of BMS.
• Understanding of fire protection systems.
• Understanding of plumbing systems.
