Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Provider – Moorgate, London – Up to £52,000
Location: Moorgate, London Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights – 7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am) Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Are you a qualified and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a fast-paced, high-spec site in Central London? We’re hiring for a skilled engineer to join our team at a critical commercial facility in Moorgate. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge building services systems and a strong, supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
\n Perform electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site.
\n
\n
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of electrical systems, including:
\n HV/LV distribution
\n
\n
UPS systems and backup generators
\n
\n
Lighting, small power, and control panels
\n
\n
\n
\n
Monitor and respond to BMS alarms and ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely.
\n
\n
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and site safety procedures.
\n
\n
Work closely with mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and the facilities team to deliver a seamless service.
\n
\n
Keep detailed and accurate records of work completed.
\n
\n
✅ Requirements:
\n \n Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
\n
\n
Experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or critical environment (e.g., data centres, financial sites, hospitals).
\n
\n
Strong working knowledge of UPS systems, generators, and HV/LV distribution .
\n
\n
HV/LV Authorised Person (AP) status desirable.
\n
\n
Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
\n
\n
