Working Hours: You will be working on a three-shift rotational pattern averaging 38.5 hours per week: Week 1: Monday: 05:00 – 15:00 Tuesday to Friday: 07:00 – 15:00 Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 23:00 – 07:00 Friday: 23:00 – 08:00 Week 3: Monday to Friday: 15:00 – 23:00 Flexibility is key, with occasional weekend work and overtime expected. Job Description: * As a Maintenance Technician, you will: * Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on equipment and control systems, including PLCs * Conduct planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment uptime * Work on continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis (e.g., QC Story, Major Breakdown Reporting) * Participate in risk assessments and maintain high engineering standards * Support with shift cover for absence, shutdowns, and urgent projects Skills & Experience: Essential: * Fully accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * HNC or equivalent Level 3 qualification (Electrical/Mechatronics) * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Experience with control panels and PLCs (Omron and Siemens preferred, Allen Bradley acceptable) * Flexibility for rotating shifts, overtime, and weekend work * Excellent teamwork and communication skills Desirable: * 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to continuous improvement tools * Familiarity with QC Story and risk assessment procedures Why Should You Apply? * Highly collaborative and motivated engineering team * Competitive salary with structured overtime and comprehensive benefits * Opportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment and projects * Career progression and personal development supported through annual competency testing * Great work-life balance with a predictable shift pattern
