Overview Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Emergency Lighting & Emergency Electrical PPMsLocation: Moorgate, LondonSalary: £48,000 per annumShift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days Only, 7am–7pm) Responsibilities
Carrying out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on emergency lighting systems and other electrical services. Supporting wider electrical systems across the site, including small power, distribution boards, lighting controls, and general building services. Ensuring compliance with statutory testing and health & safety standards at all times. Providing a client-facing service with excellent communication and professionalism. Working closely with the facilities team to maintain building performance and safety.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Building Services. 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential). Proven experience in a similar electrical maintenance role, ideally within a commercial or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems, electrical testing, and fault-finding. Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to work independently.
