OverviewStraight-Line Civils are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a client in Winfrith.ResponsibilitiesPerform planned preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systemsInstall, commission, and calibrate instruments including pressure, temperature, level, and flow sensorsDiagnose faults in PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation/control systemsSupport electrical maintenance of motors, switchgear, and power distribution panelsMaintain and update control system documentationEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulationsParticipate in plant shutdowns, upgrades, and project installationsRespond to emergency maintenance calls and support 24/7 operations if neededQualificationsNVQ L3/ City and Guilds/HND or HNC17th or 18th edition electrical certificationKnowledge of DCS, SCADA, PLC and field instrumentationFamiliarity with ATEX environments is a plusSkillsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsProficiency with test equipmentGood communication and teamwork abilitiesCapable of working under pressure and within tight deadlinesExperience4+ years experience in similar roleExperience in heavy industry, power generation, oil and gas, water treatment, or similar fields preferredProven ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and schematicsMay involve work in confined spaces, at heights, or in hazardous environmentsSalarySalary - £40,000 - £45,000How to applyIf this sounds of interest, please apply now.
