Electrical Maintenance Engineer
in Wigan. This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance team in a busy production environment, helping keep machinery running smoothly and ensuring minimal downtime. Shift Pattern: This role operates on a
3-shift rotation , giving flexibility and extra overtime opportunities: Monday-Thursday:
6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
Friday:
6am-12pm / 12pm-6pm / 6pm-12am
Key Responsibilities: Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance Conduct planned maintenance (PM) and record actions Perform condition-based monitoring (CBM) of machinery Manage spare parts and coordinate maintenance with the operations team Analyse plant performance to identify improvements Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards Candidate Profile: Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance or engineering role Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent HNC in Electrical Engineering desirable Experience with AC/DC equipment, inverters, and PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Benefits: £47,000 per year + overtime opportunities 26 days holiday + bank holidays Free healthcare cash plan & Employee Assistance Program Pension scheme (3.5% employer / 3.5% employee) Death in service (3x salary) Employee discount scheme (holidays, entertainment, gyms, electrical goods) Cycle to Work Scheme Training and career progression opportunities If you're an
