Role Purpose: We are looking for an enthusiastic Production Engineer with an electronics/test bias to join our team. In this position they will support operations, designing and producing test equipment for in process sub-assembly testing and LRU/RMA Testing and writing the test plans to carry out this testing. Also providing technical support to the Operations department to improve operations processes and resolve technical issues. Key Responsibilities: Interface between Engineering and the Production teams from a test perspective helping determine in process testing required during production to improve build quality and reduce rework time. Provide Electrical and test support to effectively deal with engineering production problems, ensuring production delays are kept to a minimum. Design and development of test equipment, assisting in the procurement of equipment, jigs, and fixtures. Develop test plans/procedures and plan and coordinate production engineering processes to ensure high quality products are produced and Customer requirements are met. Provide support to Engineering with implementation of CRs.
