Electrical Project Engineer Our client is a specialist electrical contractor delivering installations for utility and infrastructure projects, primarily based in and around Yorkshire, with growing expertise in sustainable and renewable energy systems. They are now seeking an Electrical Project Engineer who will manage electrical engineering projects in the water industry, overseeing design, site investigations, installation, procurement, health and safety compliance, budget and programme control, team collaboration, and project close-out to ensure quality and contractual requirements are met. *Candidates at all levels will be considered Electrical Project Engineer What's in it for you? Full-time: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week A combination of site-based, office, and home working, depending on project needs £60,000 - £70,000 (DOE) Company car or car allowance 23 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Private medical and health insurance Company pension scheme Electrical Project Engineer Key Responsibilities Manage engineering from inception to completion using in-house resources and site personnel Deliver electrical installations for projects such as pumping stations, dosing systems, and chlorination plants Conduct early site investigations in coordination with clients, design, and project teams Produce and review health and safety documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and project management plans Procure materials as required Participate in internal and client design reviews Collaborate closely with the design team to gather necessary information Assist with cost-to-complete and budget reviews alongside project delivery teams Support preparation of subcontract orders and variation claims Liaise with site managers and teams to ensure work meets programme, budget, and quality standards Develop and monitor Inspection and Test Plans throughout project progress Drive innovation while ensuring compliance with current standards Prepare and manage project programmes Maintain a proactive approach to high Health & Safety standards Work with the team to develop and close out contract documentation, including as-built drawings, test certifications, and operation manuals Electrical Project Engineer Role Requirements Proven experience within the Water Industry or a similar industry Working knowledge of Trimble (Amtech), Autocad or Relux would be desirable, but not essential ATEX experience desirable but not essential Commercial and contractual awareness Working knowledge of Microsoft packages Relevant electrical qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience *Please be aware this job description is a general overview and subject to change as per our clients' needs.
