Based in Silverstone, they are investing heavily in growing a forward-thinking technical team - and this is your opportunity to be part of it.The Role -As Electrical Systems Engineer, you’ll take the lead on electrical architecture and systems integration across a range of cutting-edge vehicle programmes - from prototype development to full track deployment.You’ll define, design, and validate both LV and HV systems, working closely with cross-functional technical and commercial teams. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and helping shape the future of the electrical & electronics function within the business.This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced, innovative motorsport environments.Key Responsibilities -Define and deliver complete electrical systems for prototype and race vehiclesLead electrical design using 3D CAD and 2D connectivity toolsManage the specification, sourcing, and integration of sensors, wiring, and electronic control unitsSupport and lead testing activities including test benches, HiL/DiL rigs, and trackside validationWork collaboratively with project leads to ensure design meets technical, timing, and budget requirementsSupervise and mentor junior engineers within the electrical teamContribute to system documentation, diagnostics, and fault resolution processesMaintain strong supplier relationships and manage external development work where requiredParticipate in international travel for testing and development supportSkills & Experience Required -Degree-qualified in Electrical, Automotive, or Motorsport Engineering (or equivalent experience)Proven experience developing LV and HV vehicle electrical systems in motorsport or automotive sectorsHands-on proficiency in wiring harness design and component integration using CAD toolsStrong understanding of Li-ion batteries, PMSM motors, and vehicle control networks (e.g., CAN)Comfortable supporting test activities at track, lab, or rig levelCapable of fault-finding and supporting dynamic validation processesFamiliarity with motorsport data systems (e.g. Atlas, Wintax, Darab)Proficient in PC-based engineering tools and reportingStrong organisational and communication skills, with a methodical approach to documentationPreferred Experience -Experience in high-performance motorsport environmentsTrackside support exposure and vehicle commissioning backgroundProject or team leadership experience desirable but not essentialComfortable managing both hands-on engineering and strategic planningInterest in contributing to innovative vehicle technologies beyond racingWhy Join?Opportunity to join a legendary name in motorsport during a pivotal growth phaseShape the future of an evolving engineering function with real technical ownershipWork alongside a passionate and collaborative team of engineersHybrid working opportunities based at SilverstoneExposure to world-class motorsport programmes with crossover into future mobilityInterested?Apply via LinkedIn or email dan.avila@everec.co.uk for a confidential discussion.
