RTR Group is a well-established Electrical, Building, and Property Services company operating across Essex, Kent, London, and nationwide. Were growing our specialist Building Management Systems (BMS) Controls division and are looking for an Electrician or nearly qualified electrician to train as a BMS Engineer.
This is an excellent career opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond standard electrical work and develop into a highly skilled controls engineer.
Essential Requirements (please read before applying)
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or close to completion)
Full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to travel across the UK (with some overnight stays)
Right to work in the UK
The Role
As a newly qualified Electrician you will:
Work alongside experienced engineers and qualified electricians
Support service, maintenance, installations, and callouts on customer BMS control systems
Assist with fault-finding, repairs, and commissioning of controls equipment
Learn to install and connect control panels, distribution boards, and cabling
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical layouts
Provide excellent customer service on-site, representing RTR professionally
