Morson are recruiting on behalf a leading defence equipment manufacturers based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. This is a contract role although highly likely to be long-term.
£35 per hour Umbrella or £26.07 per hour (holiday pay on top of hourly rate)
Monday - Friday 37 hours +
**In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need to be eligible for SC (Secret Level) UK Security Clearance. Both the role and client site have ITAR nationality restrictions**
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an Electronics Calibration Engineer to join their Calibration & Maintenance Team, to service Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE)
Role responsibilities:
Calibrating test/measuring equipment to defined instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications and providing technical advice/guidance on C&M measurement. Provide technical support to the organisation functions. Maintain and repair test/measuring equipment to component level. Generating clear and comprehensive calibration/maintenance records for traceability purposes. Safety systems testing of Test & Measuring equipment in line with documented procedures.
