Job Description ALTEN UK is hiring an Electronics Design Engineer to join our consultants working on advanced space communications and satellite systems . Youll be responsible for the design and development of high-performance electronic hardware for use in demanding space environments. What youll be doing: Designing high power, high frequency electronics for satellite and space applications. Developing flexible PCB boards (26 layers) and supporting complex designs up to 16 layers for FPGA-based systems . Working on communications systems hardware , ensuring reliability and performance in extreme environments. Applying design practices for signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and radiation tolerance . Supporting system-level integration, validation, and environmental testing. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (systems, RF, FPGA, and mechanical engineers).
