Job Title: Electronic Engineer

Location: Glasgow (Scotland)

Salary: £30,000-£50,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Hybrid (80% on-site)

An exciting engineering company based in Glasgow (Scotland) that designs and develops high-tech leading products for multiple industries, including Medical/Healthcare, IoT and Sports, is seeking to hire a new Electronic Engineer with a background in Embedded Systems Design to join the growing technical creative team. The role is open to Graduates, Junior, Mid-Level and Experienced Electronic Engineers.

Role and responsibilities

This is an exciting varied role where the Electronic Engineer will work across Electronics Hardware Design, PCB Design, and Embedded Systems/Software for the design, development and delivery of projects across Medical/Healthcare, IoT, Sports and other sectors. The role is available on a Hybrid pattern with 80% on-site work.

Key Skills / Requirements

• 2-4 years industry experience
• Experience across the full product design lifecycle
• Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
• PCB Design & Schematic Capture
• Embedded C
• Experience with Microcontrollers - STM32, ARM, PIC, ESP32
• Network interfaces - SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, BLE, WI-FI, ZigBee, TCP/IP, UDP
• Good communication, analytical, problem solving and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic/passionate about technology innovation & product development
• Industry experience in Medical Devices/Healthcare, IoT, Renewables, Consumer Electronics, Sports

Benefits

Full-time (35 hours per week)

Includes paid holidays (calculated pro-rata from start date) and flexible working hours.

Work from the company HQ, workshop and electronics workshop. Hybrid working available.
