This role offers autonomy, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, perfect for proactive engineers who thrive in dynamic, purpose-led settings.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate, and test high-performance embedded software in C for defence-grade systems.Create and execute unit, subsystem, and system-level test scripts across host and target platforms.Perform hands-on testing and analysis using tools like debuggers, probes, logic analysers, and oscilloscopes.Collaborate in lab-based environments to validate embedded systems performance.Contribute to design and documentation using UML for structured software development.QualificationsSolid experience in C programming for embedded systems.Skilled in testing software on ARM-based multi-core platforms.Familiar with communication protocols such as SPI, UART, Ethernet, and PCI-Express.Proficient in using DOORS for requirements management.Hands-on with host and target test tools including LDRA or similar and experienced in model-based design using SysML/UML.Knowledge of real-time operating systems like PikeOS or FreeRTOS.What happens now?Upon submission of your application, if it meets selection criteria, you will be contacted via e-mail by one of our talent acquisition specialists to arrange a screening call.
