Job Summary

Join a growing team as an Experienced Plumber/Heating Engineer, delivering plumbing planned preventive maintenance (PPM), solar panel maintenance, fault finding, and repairs for commercial and industrial clients. This role requires strong technical skills, independence, and flexibility to manage your own workload and travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform plumbing PPM to commercial and industrial properties
  • Maintain and clean solar panels on client sites
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards
  • Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks with proper documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Occasionally lead team members where applicable

Candidate Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in plumbing, ideally in commercial or industrial settings
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification in gas and plumbing/heating
  • Gas and heating skills including installation, breakdown, and repair of boilers and central heating systems
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties
  • Practical experience working onsite within client environments
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Commitment to Health and Safety compliance

Requirements
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the UK Experience in preparing quotations and providing technical support Good written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Experience in the instrumentation or flow measurement industry is a plus Knowledge of process signals such as pulse, 4-20mA, Modbus, M-bus Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
