Integral are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our Public Sector team! You will be working across multiple sites on the Lambeth Council contract.In your role as a Fabric Engineer you will be responsible for undertaking all building fabric activities, with repairs undertaken where necessary to achieve the highest level of service for the client, reporting any defects at the time of the service visit. Build relationships with the client, answering any queries and keeping them informed of site activities and developments. Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.Role and ResponsibilitiesWeekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, etc)Monthly utilities meter readingsFirst line response to reactive repairsRelamping of defective lightingMinor building fabric repairs-Basic Carpentry, Carpet Tiling, LocksMinor decorating tasksMinor plumbing repairsGeneral office cleaning as scheduled for remote sitesSupporting external landscaping and cleaning as requiredAdhoc porterage duties (Moves & changes, furniture management & moves, etc)Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work ordersComply fully with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely mannerProactively walk the floors, reporting any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk and appropriate manager.Previous Experience and QualificationsExperience within a similar position within a maintenance environment, holding relevant qualifications e.g., time served apprenticeship, C&G or equivalent.Know the relevance of toolbox talks, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights.Good verbal and written communication and ability to use computers.Experience in a similar position within a maintenance environmentGood Health and Safety awareness and knowledgeEmployee BenefitsOvertime x1.5 on weekday and x2 on weekends + day in lieu on bank holidaysStandby rate is £15 per day and £50 on bank holidays25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata into shifts for shift workers)Company funded health cash planAbility to buy and sell holidays – buy 5 days & sell 2 daysLife assuranceAuto-enrolment company pension schemeEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Cycle to work schemePurchase an electric vehicle via salary sacrificeEmployee discounts with various brandsLearning and development programs, training and career opportunities.What you can expect from usYou’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
