Are you looking to be part of a growing, fast-paced business that's changing the way organisations manage access and security?
At e-Track, we don’t just install intelligent key management systems – we’re disrupting the industry. With innovation at our core and a reputation for exceptional service, we’re growing fast and working with some of the UK’s most security-conscious sectors, including policing and commercial enterprises.
As part of our next phase of growth, we’re hiring a Field Engineer to join our expanding technical team. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, technically minded, and passionate about solving problems. You’ll be the face of e-Track on the ground – installing, repairing, and maintaining our systems, while providing top-level support to our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Field-Based Work (UK-wide):
- Install and maintain our intelligent key systems at police sites and commercial locations
- Respond to callouts, typically with a 48-hour SLA
- Carry out system diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Travel extensively, including overnight stays (often Mon–Fri), with van and expenses provided
Workshop & Production Support:
- When not on site, help build, prepare, and configure systems to the highest standards
Customer Interaction:
- Provide professional, friendly support and training on-site
- Communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior managers and operations teams
- Spot opportunities to enhance systems and recommend upgrades
Technical & Safety Standards:
- Use power tools and work from technical diagrams confidently
- Ensure all work is compliant with Health & Safety regulations
- Conduct wiring and software updates (training provided)
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience in an engineering, installation, or technical support role
- Confident using power tools and basic electrical tasks
- Midlands-based for easy access to sites across the UK
- Ability to travel across the UK with overnight stays
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, reliable approach
- Clear record and ability to pass Level 2 police vetting
- Comfortable lifting and handling equipment up to 100kg with support
- Background in automotive, access control, alarm systems or similar
- Familiarity with software setup, networking, or system configuration
Why Join e-Track?
- Be part of an ambitious, growing company that’s shaking up the market
- Work in a supportive, close-knit team that values initiative and great service
- Gain exposure to high-profile clients and cutting-edge technology
- Receive full training and development opportunities
- Company van (Ford Transit), branded tools (Milwaukee)
- £25 daily meal allowance & Premier Inn business travel card
- 22 days holiday (rising with service) + bank holidays
We know that not everyone ticks every box. If you have the technical mindset, drive, and customer-focused attitude we’re after, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note: unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
