OverviewThis great organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Field / Customer Engineer to join their dynamic team. FULL TRAINING will be given. The role will be to look after and work in and around the Newcastle area. Experience mending white goods has transferable skills for this role and a good level of mechanical / electrical aptitude is ideal. If you have experience in and enjoy general PC hardware and software maintenance, working with Windows operating systems or enjoy taking things apart, mending and putting back together, this could be a great opportunity. The role suits an individual looking to advance their career in engineering/IT and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing faults, make repairs and to replace modules on ATM’s.Installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and a high level of customer satisfaction.Take responsibility and ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements.Able to work on your own with minimal supervision and to be able to manage your time effectively and pro-actively.Good level of mechanical / electrical aptitude.Experience with Windows operating systems.Experience is in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge, with full training provided to the right candidate.Enjoys taking things apart and putting back together.Have good problem solving skills.Can work well under pressure.Full UK driving licence.Shifts and BenefitsShifts patterns are 5 days on, 2 days off, with a day off either side if working over the weekend.Typical shift hours are 8am - 5pm, 9:30am - 6pm, or 12pm – 9pm.This role comes with a company vehicle which can be used for personal use and a fuel card.Tools, laptop/Android phone and all other required tools are provided.Uniform and PPE are provided.Excellent company benefits including 30 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays). #J-18808-Ljbffr
