Responsibilities
- Be the technical face of Samotics for our UK customer base
- Co-locate with our strategic clients weekly, helping to guide them on their reliability & efficiency journey
- Lead installation, diagnostics, and optimisation efforts for SAM4 hardware on site
- Act on failure warnings and conduct root cause analysis using your maintenance expertise
- Advise on energy-saving opportunities, helping customers take concrete actions
- Work with project leads to embed SAM4 into their daily workflows and roles
- Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager to align support with long-term goals
- Support contractors and framework partners involved in maintenance or installation
- Deliver clear, actionable reports and share insights from field experience with our internal teams
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations
- Based in the South of the UK with willingness to travel regionally
- Hands-on knowledge of equipment like motors, gearboxes, pumps, and drives
- Familiarity with condition-based maintenance techniques (vibration, inspections, etc.)
- Comfortable working with IoT devices and digital tools
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- UK driving license
Desirable qualifications
- Experience in water/wastewater utilities
- Certification in vibration analysis or condition monitoring (e.g. ISO 18436)
- HNC/HND or equivalent technical qualifications
