Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a well-established special purpose machinery company.

Initially based on-site for approximately three months, you will undergo hands-on training and product familiarisation before embarking on extensive UK and international field assignments. You'll play a key role in installation, commissioning, servicing and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Commission, install, and carry out emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance on machinery and systems Deliver on-site technical support and operator training to customers Supervise contractors during major installations and service projects Collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to resolve site issues Compile detailed technical reports and recommendations following site visits
