Field Service Engineer Up to 35,000 (OTE 35k - 40k) Huntingdon

Our client is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of specialist machinery for the rubber industry. They are recognised as a trusted provider of high-quality, reliable equipment that helps businesses increase efficiency, boost productivity, and enhance profitability.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customers across the UK, and occasionally in Europe, to carry out contract servicing, general maintenance, fault diagnosis, equipment installation, and commissioning.
• Travel within the UK may involve being away from home for up to four nights per week, while European assignments can last up to two weeks and may include weekends.
• When not traveling, based at the Cambridgeshire facility, providing support to the production team.

Key Skills and Experience

• Mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge is essential
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Excellent customer service skills and a commercially focused approach
• Ability to work alone and manage your own workload
• Electrical and PLC knowledge is an advantage
