The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing Hiab and third-party equipment, while providing a high level of customer service through product knowledge and customer interaction.

This is a remote position for the UK.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Undertakes servicing of Hiab or third-party equipment at customer sites.
Completes all service, repair, warranty, and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a high-quality standard.
Builds strong rapport and relationships with customers through professional behavior and a customer-focused mindset.
Responds to routine inquiries from customers about technical aspects of the organization's products and services.
Completes all job-related paperwork accurately and promptly to ensure correct invoicing.
Troubleshoots, investigates, and resolves standard technical problems to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Develops skills and knowledge of the organization's products and services.
Carries out assigned tasks safely, in accordance with instructions, safety rules, procedures, regulations, and codes of practice.
Supports the company's efforts to reduce accidents/incidents by reporting unsafe actions or conditions and participating in safety initiatives.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications.

Working experience:

Experienced multi-skilled engineer.
Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical operations.

Competence and skills:

Excellent customer-focused approach.
Quality-oriented.
Flexible and adaptable.
Self-starter with enthusiasm and drive.
Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
