Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. Youll be responsible for on-site service, maintenance, and technical support of equipment, representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise. This is a field-based role requiring flexibility to travel across the UK with overnight stays.
Package
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am 4:30pm
- Base salary: Starting salary of £45,000
- Overtime pay: Weekdays: 1.5x / Weekends: 2x
- Company car scheme
- Expenses: Fully covered
- Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
- Install, commission, and maintain packaging machinery at customer sites
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related faults, ensuring minimal downtime
- Perform routine servicing and emergency repairs on all equipment and machinery
- Deliver technical training and hands-on support to customer operators
- Complete and submit detailed service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation accurately and on time
- Experience in a field service engineering role
- Willingness to travel and stay in hotels (expenses fully covered)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
