We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Service Engineer to join our expert Service Department, providing exceptional support across the Manchester to Leeds corridor. This is a permanent, full-time position for a motivated individual looking to progress within a dynamic and well-established company.
Flexibility in working hours and travel is essential, along with a strong customer service ethos and high personal standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults on machine tools.
*
Perform regular, routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
*
Train customers in machine operation, safety, and maintenance procedures.
*
Accurately report and document service activities and customer interactions.
Key Requirements:
*
HNC, Degree, or equivalent in Engineering.
*
Apprentice-trained engineer or prior field experience with machine tools is highly desirable.
*
Strong electrical diagnostic skills, including schematic reading and fault finding.
*
Familiarity with PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
*
Able to read and interpret electrical/electronic/hydraulic/mechanical drawings.
