Salary package: - GBP45K 55K D.O.E + Company Car

Shifts: Monday-Friday Only

Holiday: 25 days + 8 Bank holiday s

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for engineering and customer service, a global leader in packaging solutions is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their expert team. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting their customers across the region. Our client also offers excellent training.

The Role

You will be involved in servicing and repair of packaging machinery. You will be working at large, automated facilities around the UK with occasional trips to Ireland.

  • On-Site Work: Travel to customer sites to carry out Installs, maintenance, troubleshoot servicing, and breakdown support.
  • Provide technical training and support to operators and maintenance teams
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure optimal machine performance
  • Report and document service activities and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate closely with our clients global engineering and service teams

The Candidate

To be successful in your application you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Must have an electrical or mechanical qualification in engineering.
  • Must be able to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Must be willing to stay away.
  • Automated manufacturing experience would beneficial.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Full UK driving License
