Field Service Engineer

Questech Automotive Recruitment are seeking a skilled Field Service HGV Technician to join a dynamic team in a succesful company who reward skill and dedication with ongoing training, career progression and a supportive team culture.
£43,900 - £46,800 DOE (based on 45 hour week) 45 hours between 08:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday
The Role:
* Diagnose and repair faults on vehicle chassis and mounted equipment
* Carry out servicing and maintenance to a high standard
* Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
* Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues
* Travel to customer sites across the UK, sometimes at short notice
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
* Communicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service
* Support health and safety practices and complete risk assessments as required
The person:
* NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Heavy Vehicles
* Previous experience in a field service, HGV Mechanic, workshop engineer role
* Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
* Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexible with working hours
