Overview

Field Service Engineer role based in Leicestershire with UK and international travel. Salary up to £45k per annum (£56k OTE). Metalis is partnering with a precision engineering company seeking experienced Field Service Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and service mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic systems
  • Troubleshoot, install, calibrate, and maintain STEM, EDM, and laser equipment
  • Perform work with a focus of 60% mechanical and 40% electrical tasks
  • Manage and maintain tools, instruments, and testing equipment
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance procedures
  • Identify and support sales opportunities, including new contracts and renewals
  • Conduct axis alignments to ensure optimal machine performance and functionality

Qualifications

  • Field Service Engineer experience
  • Experience working with CNCs
  • Knowledge of motors, drives, axis alignment and setup
  • Worked on mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Full UK Driving License (clean)
  • UK Passport
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally

Salary, Shift & Benefits

  • Up to £45k per annum (£56k OTE)
  • Tuesday–Friday shift details originally stated: Monday to Thursday, 8:15am - 5:30pm and Friday 8:15am - 12:30pm (note: kept as provided under this section)
