Location: Manchester, M17 1EH (Covering the North West region)

Hours: 45 hours per week | 9 hours per day, between 06:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday

Salary: Between £39,000 - £43,992 pa DOE

Overview

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for a dynamic role? We are seeking a dedicated professional to repair, maintain, and service customer vehicles both at their premises and within our workshops. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing faults, preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, and ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards. You\'ll use computer-aided software for fault diagnosis and work independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicle body and chassis on RCVs or similar vehicles.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle technology systems.
  • NVQ, City & Guilds, Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance, or equivalent, or time served.
  • Ability to manage your own workload using PDA software, maintain good housekeeping, and ensure repairs meet customer requirements.
