Sunday) We are looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer to join a dedicated engineering service team. This role offers a mix of planned maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work across a variety of automated and mechanical systems. The Role
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and suggest improvements.
Complete scheduled service rotas and respond to call-outs as part of a rota system.
Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults.
Support continuous improvement and innovation in engineering solutions.
Ensure health and safety standards are always upheld.
Manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
About You
Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent apprenticeship, ideally electrically biased).
Strong background in engineering within parcel handling, FMCG, or manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with inverter drives, SCADA control, profibus, Asi, and PC/PLC control (advantageous).
Proven track record delivering against PM schedules, KPIs, and service contracts.
Skilled in fault-finding, problem solving, and implementing best practices.
Confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently under pressure.
Flexible with UK travel and participation in the on-call rota.
