OTE £75,000 plus company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone.

*Hours: *42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Allan J Hargreaves Plant Engineers Ltd (AJH) are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Field Service Engineers to join our team.
*Main Purpose of Job:*
Representing the company undertaking safety critical repairs, modifications and maintenance to road/rail equipment used within the rail industry, on site, at customer’s facilities or in our workshops as required.
Assist in the development of new and innovative machinery as designed by Allan J Hargreaves plant engineers.
To complete inspections, fault finding and installation of safety and productivity systems, LOLER & PUWER inspections and product support.
*Required Qualifications:*
·Minimum NVQ 2 – in Engineering, Construction Plant or related discipline or equivalent experience
· Full Driver’s license
. 2 years Plant or HGV experience
*Desirable Qualifications:*
· PTS Certification
· Road/Rail maintenance competency/RPA certificate
. Ability to operate plant & equipment machines and attachments
. Awareness of legislation and requirements relevant to vehicles and plant equipment
*Principle Duties:*
· The repair and maintenance of plant and equipment, including modifications and upgrades of plant and machinery, used within the rail and construction industry · Manage workload in line with client commitments and targets · Communicate on a technical level with customers · Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard · Ensure you have the correct parts and information to complete tasks at the required standards and to the customer’s requirements · Evaluate information and data interpretation · Provide support in special projects/scheduled servicing of vehicles, plant and equipment · Increase knowledge across the company by promoting and sharing of best practices · Scheduled servicing · Examination and repair of faults · Diagnostics testing · Evaluate information and data interpretation of technical information · Complete all necessary administration and documentation required. Observe and comply with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Policy and all relevant Rail standards at all times
