Field Service Engineer - Unique Custom Machinery
Location: Corby (with national and international travel)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established manufacturer of unique custom machinery as a Field Service Engineer. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair machinery, including conveyor systems
- Carry out servicing on-site and provide technical guidance to customers
- Demonstrate correct machinery usage to operators and site teams
- Work in confined spaces when required
- Test and commission equipment after installation or repair
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures to maintain high service standards
- Complete all relevant paperwork, including time sheets and service reports
- Travel to various client sites nationally and internationally (essential)
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, or a time-served mechanical engineering apprenticeship
- Strong mechanical fitting and electrical engineering skills
- Good working knowledge of electrical principles
- Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport (essential for travel)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with clients at all levels
