Location: Manchester, Bristol, North London, Sheffield. Salary: cGBP45k – GBP50k depending on experience, plus a vehicle and benefits.

Undertake fault finding, diagnosis and repair duties on energy storage systems.
Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement activities on a range of equipment at BESS sites across the UK.
Carry out system software and firmware upgrades when required.
Oversee operation performance monitoring, data assessment, and provide telephone technical support and remote diagnostics where applicable.
Attend customer sites to perform repairs if remote resolution is not possible.
Manage spare parts and vehicle inventory; maintain safety and regulatory compliance (e.g., BS7671).
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures as needed.
Complete administrative duties (timesheets, daily vehicle checks, and accurate daily job reports).
Collaborate with the in-house system engineering group on product development and/or project work.
Provide field feedback and suggestions to improve the product portfolio.

Qualified to at least C&G 2391 Inspection and Test or HNC level (or above) in a relevant electrical/electro-mechanical discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or service role.
Good IT skills (MS Office) and understanding of networking/remotely accessing systems.
Qualifications for working safely on site; full UK driving licence; willingness to travel (overnight stays and potential international travel).
Experience on BESS sites is advantageous; knowledge of HV/LV power electronics (inverters/converters/ transformers); HVAC training; F‑Gas qualifications (training can be provided).
