With over 30 years' of providing innovative solutions to the heavy industry they are going strength to strength and our searching for a field service engineer to join their talented and close-knit team to service nationwide and worldwide. Our client work with some of the biggest heavy industry members and supply all across the globe including South Africa, US, Australia and India, with their UK based site and headquarters being in Peterborough. The business offers comprehensive training, spending 4-6 weeks training at the HQ, shadowing and being involved with inhouse training sessions and allow for progression to various roles in the business. This field service engineer role is right for an engineer who is happy to travel globally, travel the world and carry on developing/learning. The Role: As a field service engineer your role will include a variety of both commissioning and service-based work. - 1/3 of the role you spend commissioning and servicing – international work - 1/3 of the role servicing and being involved with commissioning – UK Based - 1/3 office based – working at the HQ, being breakdown response - Doing both electrical and mechanical work You: As a field service engineer, our client is looking for: - An engineer happy to travel worldwide – all paid for, being the face of the business - Happy to be on the road in the UK, travelling all paid for - Someone with a good attitude and aptitude to learn and develop - Electrical skillset – experience on PLC systems and fault finding - A full clean driving license Benefits: A package including a good basic salary with tons of opportunities to earn more money, OTE of 55,000 with O.T paid at x1.5 for any weekend or work outside of your 8 hrs, with a great 12.5% pension contribution and other benefits including healthcare and a company Van with all expenses including hotel, food and fuel paid for by the company.
