Field Service Engineer – PSV (Electric & ICE Vehicles)
Location: Field Based, reporting to the Service Centre in Thurrock Employment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £42,804 plus applicable shift allowance
Role Overview
We are hiring for two exciting opportunities for a Field Service Engineer – PSV (Electric & ICE Vehicles). These roles involve supporting a diverse fleet of electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) public service vehicles (PSVs) at customer locations. The successful candidate must be flexible, as shift patterns and working hours may vary depending on operational needs.
Role 1:
Shift: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Working Days: Monday to Friday, with alternate weekends (subject to change) Shift Allowance: 30% Role 2:
Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Working Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work (currently 1 in 4 Saturdays, subject to change) Shift Allowance: 10%
Purpose of the Role
As a Field Service Engineer – PSV (Electric & ICE Vehicles), you will provide expert service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for a growing fleet of electric and ICE PSVs. You will play a key role in minimising downtime and supporting high vehicle performance standards through both scheduled and responsive tasks across multiple customer sites.
