Field Service Engineer Areas surrounding Swindon, Birmingham, Northampton, Yorkshire, North East, Reading| Join a Global Leader in Industrial MachineryAn established international manufacturer of high-tech industrial machinery is looking to recruitField Service Engineersto support ongoing growth across the UK.If you have a strong electrical/mechanical background within the CNC world & enjoy hands-on problem solving in the field, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.Why Join?£40k - 50k Salary + Bonus + Company Car + Medical CoverReceive full training on cutting-edge machineryEnjoy a varied, independent field-based role with opportunities to growAbout the Role:Install and commission advanced CNC machinery on customer sitesPerform diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenanceCollaborate across internal service teams (remote support, parts, engineering)Provide on-site support and advice on machine operation and careTake full ownership of tasks with a solution-driven approachWhat We're Looking For:HNC, NVQ Level 3 or recognised engineering apprenticeship (18th Edition is a plus)Experience in machine tool servicing, ideally in the woodworking/Stone/Glass/metal/Precision ComponentsStrong skills in:PLC fault finding (structured text, C programming preferred)Siemens / FANUC / Heidenhain controlsCodesys or similar softwareFieldbus systems (Profinet, Profibus, Ethercat, CANbus)Servo drives, encoders, stepper motorsReading and interpreting electrical schematicsElectrical components (safety relays, contactors, inverters, etc.)Mechanical competence including:Pneumatics, hydraulics, machine installation using skates/jacksReplacement of bearings, chains, sprockets, ball screws, etc.Self-motivated with excellent customer service and communication skillsWillingness to travel extensively within the UKJBRP1_UKTJ
