The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing Hiab and third part equipment, whilst providing a good level of customer service, through product knowledge and customer interaction.

This is a remote position for UK, ideally to be based in the West Midlands or Wrexham area.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Undertakes servicing of Hiab or third party equipment at our customer sites
• Complete all service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a high quality standard
• Build strong rapport and relationships with customers, through professional behavior and customer focused mindset
• Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services
• Completing all job related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner to ensure correct invoicing to the customer
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
• Develop skills and knowledge of the organization's products and service
• Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions and in compliance with the company's safety rules / proceduresand with regulations and codes of practice
• Support the company’s efforts to reduce accidents / incidents by reporting unsafe actions or conditions and participating in Safety Walks, Safety Audits and 5S events etc. as required.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications

Working experience:

• Experienced multi-skilled engineer
• Experience in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical operations

Competence and skills:

• Excellent customer focused approach
• Quality orientated
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Self-starter, enthusiasm and drive
• Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
